MMUST in collaboration with Light for the world and the Standard Chartered Bank on Thursday, 27th October, 2022 commenced a two-day mentorship program to champion Future Makers Inclusive Employability. This was aimed at taking the staff and students through disability awareness training as well as conducting disability awareness score card for the institution. As part of the collaboration, on Friday, 28th October, 2022, MMUST hosted the Standard Chartered Bank Marathon that was officially flagged off by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Solomon Shibairo who was also part of about for hundred (400) participants.
The event was geared towards providing students with the knowledge and how to be ready for the job market, providing students with advice and how they can make their technical skills match the job market demand as well as providing opportunities for the mentor to interact with the students and help them demystify myths or challenges on employability and professional growth.
